Call 828-350-9310

Dr. Buzzanell and the staff at Blue Ridge Pain Management are doing everything to ensure the safety of our patients during this time.

Thank you for the confidence you have placed in our practice. It is a privilege to be your trusted healthcare partner.

As the impact from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on communities increases, we feel it is vital to communicate our plan to keep our patients and team members healthy and safe.

Our Locations

  • While our facilities and equipment are cleaned frequently throughout the day, we are increasing the frequency and detail of sanitizing equipment, exam tables, furniture, and doors.
  • We are increasing the cleaning of surfaces and items (computers, countertops, writing tools, clipboards, etc.) that are touched frequently.

Our Patients

  • Everyone must wear a mask when entering the building.
  • Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water before and after your appointment.
  • If you are unable to wash your hands beforehand, please use the provided alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Please, no handshaking.
  • If you, or anyone accompanying you to your appointment, has had a recent onset of fever, cough, and shortness of breath or respiratory illness, or are caring for anyone who is experiencing these symptoms, or you have visited an identified a CDC high risk area in the last 14 days prior to your appointment, please reschedule your appointment by calling our office.
  • If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or have been to a CDC high risk area within the last 14 days, but still feel that you need to be seen, please call our office. Our medical staff will determine whether you will need to reschedule.
  • As much as possible, please limit the number of friends/family members accompanying you for your appointment.
  • If you are in the clinic and you need to cough or sneeze, please cough into a tissue and throw it immediately into the trash.

Our Team Members

  • We are expanding our employee training and we will follow CDC guidelines to ensure that we are maximizing prevention and preparedness.
  • We will continue our current hand-washing policy.
  • We are implementing a no-handshaking policy with patients and team members.
  • Our team members will stay home if they are sick.

Based on current information from the World Health Organization (www.who.int), the Centers for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov ), and our own preparedness efforts, we are confident we can provide a safe environment for you and our team members.

Thank you,

Dr. Buzzanell and the Blue Ridge Pain Management Staff
